Hi this year in Language Arts this year we read this awesome book called The Westing Game and during the Westing Game we made stocks. We made stocks because in the book there is a character named Turtle and she invested in stocks so we did too. The purpose of this assignment is to teach us on how to invest in stocks. What made this assignment so much fun is that we get $20,000 fake dollars to invest in any stocks we wanted. My personal favorite stock that I invested in was Nike even through Nike was not the my best stock it was my favorite because it was so unpredictable and that was fun just to see what was going to happen next.
